Polka Dot Smiles!

I hope that today's card makes you smile.  There is nothing more cheerful then polka dots!  I love the Polka Dot Pieces stamp set in the Annual Catalogue.(129705)  This stamp set is made to coordinate with 5 punches. You and Me Valentine with a candy treat!

The idea for my card today came from Mary Fish a demonstrator in the states.  Her card used the heart framelits and the Me and You.  I just added the forever and silver little hearts.  Because I hate to waste cutouts and paper....I used the pink heart I cut out from the card  as a background for the little chocolate holder.  The holder is made using the new Scalloped tag Topper Punch from the Occasions Catalogue. Very quick and easy!  These are items I made to do a home party coming up.

This was a quick and easy Birthday card that Katie made for her sister Molly.  Bright cheerful colors. 

The Washi tape was used to attach the Melon layer to the Pool Party base.  Fun and functional.

Today I was looking for a color combination for a card that will be part of a class I am getting ready.  All I had to do is open my eyes and look around the room....



Waking through the kitchen I stopped to add water to the tulips and there it was. Real Red, Chocolate Chip and Pistachio Pudding.

It is time.....to blog!

Welcome to my first blog ever.  I have been a Stampin Up demo for five years now.  Time has gone by so fast.  I have meet so many amazing people and have enjoyed every conversation I have had with them.  They are more then just fellow crafters that share my passion for creating, they are friends.

I have made the choice to take the plunge and start a blog.  Now keep in mind that this is all new for me, and half the time year old daughter has to help me work my I pad...but I am up for the challenge

I plan to keep my posts short....to share ideas, crafty tips, and photos of my creations. I will also let you know of specials that are going on and classes will be posted under my CLASSES link at the top of the blog with photos of them.  As for the rest...I am making it up as I go....

One photo to share today....the first card from my NEW ONE SHEET WONDER CLASS #2   this is a new set of templates from the last set.

 

I ran the first One Sheet Wonder in the Fall and loved doing it.  It is a great concept.  You use one stamped sheet of paper to be the focal point on all nine cards.  All sheets of card stock are pre printed with cut lines and numbered.   It is as easy as making piles of nine and putting the cards together!

This Class will include full instructions and all templates for you to take home and recreate anytime.
